Bangladesh Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Human Capital Development Project (BD Rural WASH for HCD)

Access to safely managed water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities is a fundamental requirement for development. While Bangladesh has made sustainable strides in economic growth, the persisting issue of insufficient safely managed WASH services in rural areas remains a major concern for the country.  SDG 6 is dedicated to addressing challenges pertaining to clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene as well as the conservation of water related  eco system. This program includes enhancing access of safe drinking water and reducing open defection practices.With the partnership of PKSF, BASA Foundation is implementing this program including, Mymensingh and  Jamalpur, Through this initiative, BASA Foundation aims to deliver water and sanitation products to 59,000 beneficiaries, ensuring improved access to clean water and sanitation facilities. This comprehensive program integrates financial accessibility, capacity building, awareness creation, and technical support to achieve sustainable outcomes.
