Proshanti Women Foundation is a non-profit, non-political, and voluntary development organization committed to creating a hunger-free and poverty-free Bangladesh through women’s empowerment and sustainable socio-economic advancement. Since its inception, the foundation has been working with dedication to uplift disadvantaged women, youths, and marginalized communities by providing skill development training, awareness-building programs, and long-term livelihood opportunities.
Located at 1127 Dakshin Ibrahimpur, Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka-1206, the organization operates with the belief that true social change begins by empowering those who are most vulnerable. Through capacity-building initiatives, access to resources, and community-level interventions, the foundation strives to help individuals and families break the cycle of poverty and transform their lives with dignity.
Proshanti Women Foundation focuses on developing human potential by providing market-relevant vocational training, promoting entrepreneurship, and expanding employment opportunities both locally and abroad. The organization also plays a significant role in advocating for women’s rights, protecting children, ensuring health and sanitation awareness, and creating a safe and supportive environment for community development.
With a commitment to integrity, transparency, and social welfare, Proshanti Women Foundation continues to design and implement innovative programs that address real community needs—ranging from poverty alleviation, women’s leadership, skill development, migrant worker support, health & nutrition awareness, environmental protection, and disaster resilience.
By collaborating with government institutions, private organizations, and international development partners, the foundation aims to maximize its impact and contribute to national development goals. Every initiative taken by Proshanti Women Foundation centers on one mission: to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and build a more equitable and prosperous Bangladesh.
